Overview:

Completed a comprehensive Emergency First Aid Training program specifically tailored for individuals seeking essential skills in emergency first aid. The course, designed for small office environments and nominated first aiders, focused on protocols for adult casualties while emphasising workplace safety. Topics covered included adult resuscitation (CPR), management of burns, scalds, and choking incidents in adults, effective communication and casualty care, theoretical knowledge of defibrillator prompts and pad placement, as well as techniques for managing minor and severe bleeding. Additionally, gained understanding of the role of the first aider and compliance with health & safety regulations, along with proficiency in responding to seizures, shock, and unresponsive adults.
