Working with the Film Camera


In our current module, I engage in a comprehensive exploration of the filmmaking process, seamlessly blending rigorous academic study with hands-on practical projects. Delving into the history of the film camera and the diverse roles of industry professionals, I unravel the intricacies behind the scenes.

Throughout the module, I delve into key stylistic elements of framing and visual composition, analysing film examples in class to deepen our understanding. Subsequently, I embark on a series of practical filmmaking workshops, where we undertake focused exercises aimed at applying theoretical concepts learned in seminars.

By merging theoretical exploration with practical application, this module offers a holistic understanding of filmmaking while honing our skills and creativity.
