“Whispers: Waves of the Diary” Selected for 4theatre Festival

I’m delighted to share that Whispers: Waves of the Diary, my latest experimental short film, has been officially selected by the 4theatre festival. This recognition is particularly meaningful as 4theatre.com is one of the top 50 online festivals on FilmFreeway, known for helping filmmakers from around the world promote their projects.

Now in its third year, 4theatre has hosted 29 editions and received over 1,000 submissions, providing a platform for emerging filmmakers to reach a wider audience. Through their monthly competition, “4theatre Selection,” they offer the opportunity for winning projects to be screened virtually, bringing diverse and inspiring stories directly to viewers. I’m honoured that my work will be showcased as part of this initiative, allowing Whispers: Waves of the Diary to connect with new audiences globally.

The film, which captures the quiet beauty of Whitstable through its vibrant town centre, serene sunsets, and iconic maritime scenes, is especially close to my heart. This selection by 4theatre is a wonderful step forward in sharing Whitstable’s whispers and waves with a larger community of film lovers.

Thank you to the 4theatre team for this incredible opportunity, and to everyone who has supported this project so far. Keep an eye out for updates as the competition progresses, and feel free to follow along with my journey on the festival platform.
